I Made It Across The Country!
Going to keep it short and sweet today. The main reason being I’m pretty tired after the journey and the packing/unpacking. Plus, unpacking at 9600′ takes a whole lot out of you.
Looks like I missed a lot. We had an invest in the Gulf, and one that I think has a good argument for getting an upgrade in the post season to something tropical. Beyond that, the rain has come for the Gulf Coast and southeastern United States and temperatures have moderated some with the rain. There was a gigantic tornado in Texas on Monday. I’ll be diving back into looking forward with the weather with a post tomorrow discussing the NOAA hurricane forecast.
On this end, in terms of weather, I have got to experience the transition from summer to winter in 4 days. Snowed here today. It was 92 when I left New Orleans. Going to enjoy some dinner and some rest this evening and get back to doing GumboWx tomorrow, live from the GumboWx West Campus for the summer.
